English Department students attend a studium generale with Carla Power

 

5th and 7th semester students of English Department UNS attended a studium generale with Carla Power as the guest speaker. The studium generale was held during the second and third period of classes on November 2nd, 2022.

5th semester students claimed that this is their first time participating in a seminar at the seminar room of the Cultural Sciences Faculty (FIB) building. "I didn't know that this faculty had a seminar room because I've never been there," said one of the students.

This seminar became a new experience for most of the students. They paid attention and asked questions regarding the topic of the discussion, a book by Carla Power entitled "Home, Land, Security".

A student exclaimed, "It was such a great experience, to be able to attend a seminar in the FIB's seminar room. The discussion content was also intriguing. On top of that, we even get a taste of UNS Food!”
