Student in Solo Making Non-cash Card For Bus Transaction

Starting 31st October 2022 the Ministry of Transportation Republic of Indonesia (Kemenhub) impose rate on the Buy The Service program packaged under the name Teman Bus which is Rp3.700 per trip.

"It is hoped that the implementation of this tariff can provide a stimulus to mass public transportation services in their respective cities to improve their quality so as to create a climate of healthy competition," added Hendro.

The Teman Bus payment method still applies cashless payment using a non-cash card. The non-cash cards that can be used such as E-money from Mandiri, Brizzi from BRI, Tap Cash from BNI, and Flazz BCA, passengers can get non-cash cards at these banks or at minimarkets such as Indomaret and Alfamart.

Because of the sudden announcement, people in Surakarta bought the non-cash card in droves that makes it is sold out almost in every mini market such as Indomaret, Alfamart, and Alfamidi that makes difficult to get one for some people especially student who used to use Batik Solo Trans (BST) for daily transportation.

“I even didn’t get the non-cash card from some minimarkets that I have come up so I decided to make it at BNI and hopefully I got one” said Dila.
